Advanced Studies S13: OWLs Part 2

It's time for more OWLs!

torsparkles completed this beautiful yarn for her Care of Magical Creature bowtruckles OWL:

As this is a learning OWL torsparkles proposed her spinning by number of hours per week (5 in her case). 

Another spinning OWL this term was Head of House JMN's potions OWL! Look at all the colors!

This was JMN's 12th OWL making her an OWL mistress, look for a post dedicated to her later this month!

Marifly hatched a Antipodean Opaleye dragon egg and created this beautiful shawl for her Care of Magical Creatures OWL:

PprmntMochaMama defeated the Cruciatus curse this term by created this very intricate and beautiful gingerbread house and tree!

Her turn in is like Christmas in July!

Advanced Studies S13: Order Missions, Part 2

Today we're continuing our Break Month celebration of every Badger who completed a mission for the Order of the Phoenix. We have some really impressive work to show off today!

jen2291 spun her Time-Turner to go undercover at a concert. To blend in with the Muggles, she wore this shawl and carried some reusable totes:

Our fabulous HoH JMN was another undercover operative. She wore this Color Affection shawl for her work for the Order:

Finally, Lady Dragonsinger crocheted an amazing 400 granny squares for the Linus Connection as part of her charitable work for the Advance Guard:

We certainly have some talented and generous students in Hufflepuff! Great job, Order operatives!

Advanced Studies S13: OWLs Part 1

This term we had 54 awesome Hufflepuffs complete an OWL. Over the break month we'll be featuring those Hufflepuffs here on The HuffleBlog!

The first Hufflepuff to turn in her OWL was lea67000 with her Care of Magical Creatures Hatch-an-Egg OWL. She successfully hatched a zebra striped pig egg!

Up next was trapeze12 and her History of Magic OWL:

costumer47 made this awesome colorwork blanket for her Ancient Runes OWL:

DottyDori spun 1,619 yards of lace weight yarn for her Charms OWL:

Finally, knitbunnie knit her dream for Divination of a baby sweater set and blanket:

The solid color squares in her blanket are actually washcloth squares and feature different pictures. One if my favorites was this moose. Because who doesn't want a moose on their blanket?

Advanced Studies S13: Order Missions, Part 1

Hufflepuff started strong when the Order of the Phoenix thread opened up for submissions! Here are photos of a few of our badgertastic completed missions.

Advanced Studies S13: NEWTS

We had three amazing Hufflepuffs finish a NEWT during the Spring 2013 term.

First off was kirsts and her Arithmancy/DADA NEWT:
