Movie Weekend #6 October 8, 9, 10

According to http://www.holidayinsights.com/ , October 9th is Curious Events Day, although it says they were unable to uncover any factual information about this 'holiday'. So to observe this holiday we'll have a list of movies containing events so curious that they can only be described as magical.

The movie choices are:

The Color of Magic***

The NeverEnding Story***

Labyrinth***

The Illusionist

Movies indicated with *** are available to view instantly from Netflix. Please leave a comment with your favorite title - I'll count the votes and post the winner on Thursday.

  5. I vote for The Color of Magic!

I've never heard of it but we just started reading a Terry Pratchett novel and I am intrigued! But great list so whatever wins will be fun!

  6. As much as I love me some Bowie I am going to have to vote for The Illusionist. Christian Bale and Hugh Jackman can't be wrong.

  8. I have the never ending story and Labyrinth, so my vote goes for the Color of Magic since i haven't seen it.

Both never ending story and labyrinth are in my top ten movies tho, so I will definitely watch them again if either wins :D

  10. Umm...YellowRaincoat? "The Prestige" has Christian Bale and Hugh Jackman - "The Illusionist" has Edward Norton, Jessica Biel, and Rufus Sewell. :)

  11. Oh poo...my bad. They came out around the same time so I get them confused. Anyways, that one is good too. Sorry folks.

  13. I've seen the Labyrinth and the Never ending story. Wasn't a big fan of the Illustionist (though I loved the Prestige) so I'm going to go with the colour of Magic since I haven't seen it yet!
